Watch out for this Reticulated Python! With beedy yellow eyes, smooth leathery skin, slythering hiss, and a lethal bite, this is one snake to avoid!

Luckily I was behind a sheet of glass, he was locked up in his cage, and I did not suffer from any injuries while composing this photo. =)

This photo was taken at the Toronto Zoo.

Very beautiful composition, the vertical line emphasizing the tense moment. Your title is well chosen, the focus, centered around the eyes, renders the snails'look even more fierce. Luckily your were protected by the glass window :-) . TFS, Patrick

I like the shallow DOF and the point of view.

The snake, however, is a Reticulated Python, not a boa constrictor.
