[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken a bit later in the day than the previous shot, this scene was begging for a portrait shot as well. Looking on it now, I wished I had taken the shot with more FG and less sky. Ah well.

-Shadows/midtones/highlights adjusted for a more even exposure
-Blue and red and cyan saturations added

Hello Billy...
i really like the reflection

Hi Tim,
I love the clarity in this photo. It is even hard to tell what is reflection and what isn't. Such a stunning reflection. You are right about a slightly different composition, but still the result created is excellent. Sharpness and control on exposure are perfect and this photo has a great feel to it. I am not so charmed with the text. Maybe a tad smaller and more toward the bottom.

Hello Tim, great reflections and light.
Amazing compo and details.

Hi Tim

What a magnificent composition! This view is outstanding!
The POV is excellent, the exposure impecable and the DOF great. Also i find the colors very lovely and the warm light just makes everything go a step higher :)
The reflections look amazing, just like the mountains theirselves in the first place.
Great work!

Bravo and TFS

Hi Tim
you caught the moment very right. The composition, but also the natural colors are magnificant. Wouldn't mind pitching up my tent here.

Stunning view! Another great shot from you.
Such a beautiful reflection and composition. Im really happy everytime I find a fellow landscape photographer here on TN. Most people focus on animals and insects, but what I really like most is landscape. I really like your work, and will keep on cheking your photos for more nature inspiration :)

This is a wonderful composition. I like it a lot. The richness of the colours is beautiful.

This is a stunning photo Tim. It hardly looks real! I like your composition just as it is.

Evelynn : )

A very nicely rendered image Tim - the stones cutting the reflection threw me for a minute - a good POV and overal composition and nice colour tone too.

best wishes Kev

Unbelievable shot! (I can never get so many ranges of depth in one shot.) We can even clearly see the rocks lying beneath the water's surface! As for your comment on too much sky, I don't agree--I think the sky and clouds give the mountains perspective.

Hi Tim,
This is a stunner. There a many great photos on TrekNature, and, I'm ashamed to admit, I usually just enjoy skimming through them without leaving comments. Occasionally, I see one like this which stops me in my tracks. I've been looking at it for several minutes now, enjoying it and trying to learn from it. Thanks for sharing it!
Given the above, I don't have much to critique, although I like the extra bit of sky you left in - gives a good perspective on the scale of the the landscape. Colors and light really win the day. Hope you've had a chance to go back in the 6 years since you've posted this!
