[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here is the second one of the colony of Gannet that we found on the Ile Bonaventure. Gannet everywhere... Like the fist one I post, the fog was really thick, but I try to use it at my advantage. The colony is near a cliff. More information about the island: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bonaventure_Island.

He's the shady looking one on the bottom left with his beak sticking up in the air? Anyhow...nice environmental capture of the colony with the mood enhanced by the fog. I'd be tempted to go to town on this one with post processing to produce something of an art based image.
Well seen image out of what is a chaotic situation.
Cheers
Paul

Hello Francois,
Wow!
This is an awesome repetition effect!
A bit of pity for the foggy weather but it still comes through very well...
Nice framing, interesting presentation!
Greetings,

Hello Francois,
This is an eye opening picture. Never see so many birds in one place. Very well done and TFS.

Hi Francois,
What a view. Eventhough its kinda foggy, this is really beautiful to see. You must have been thrilled to witness this.
Great capture.
TFS,
Niek

Francois,
Good image. You have to be lucky when there's fog I guess.

Merci,
Claudine

Yes, where's Charlie? Isn't that he over there on the right on that slight rise???
These birds are quite amazing how they'll live like this all those months while they nest. And also recognise their own too. It is good to see, TFS

Hehe! Not easy to find the gull you need here!
The fog effect gives the impression that the flock of birds is extending into infinity!
Well done!

Hello Francois,
Fantastic view on this colony. It's one of these places looking like from the different world where no man and no civilisation exist. Very nice moody, misty climat.
Best greetings,
Michal
