[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Usualy when a Mallard is posted, most of the time it's the male. This time I decided to break with tradition. This is a female Mallard taken in a pond in St-Bruno National Park.
The low sun added to warm color tones. I would have preferred having all of the ducks reflection in the picture but it will have to be for next time. The wing tips is a bit over-exposed in my opinion. Taken with my manual focus telelens.

PP:
- Slight ajustment of the levels.
- Shadow/Highlights (to balance the lighting)
- Saturation 8%
- Sharpen 15%
- Neatimage to clean up a bit of noise in BG after PP.

Hi Patrick,
Nice to view light falls on feathers of this female mallard, and its reflection on water surface. It might be better if this image was not cropped to tight at bottom part.
Sharp and neat image.
Great shot and very nice PP works.
