[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A follow up on my "relaxing view" picture taken at the Cascade river in Stewart Canyon. It's just a peace of the river, but I wanted to show it from a slightly different angle. And this is how I saw it when I was sitting on a rock beside the river.

The Cascade River outflow in Lake Minnewanka was first dammed in the early 1900's to provide power to the Town of Banff and the mine at Bankhead. During World War II a larger dam was constructed in order to provide more electricity to Calgary and its factories.

I notice the colour of the water telling at least part of it comes from a glacier!
Well composed image with a nice sense of depth and fine colours...
Good details in the forest in the background!

Hi Nel.
Very nice composition with by this one mountain river.I like splendid colour cold and clean waters.Fine details,dark wood with undertone blue sky be fine background(pity as though the blue there's not more).
Is it another your very nice shot splendid virginal nature.

Wat een mooie rivier zeg. Prachtig helder water, en zo lekker ruig. Je lage POV is echt pefect en geeft de foto een mooie diepte. Kleur, belichting en contrast zijn perfect.
