[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another photo taken from my Elk Mtn snowshoe. This one is looking south towards Mt. Baker.
Mt. Baker, at just under 11,000 feet above sea level, is a dormant volcano in Washington State, and is some 10 miles south of where I am as the crow flies.
The dying rays of alpenglow is still very evident here, and curves helped bring it out more.

A nice winter mountain landscape. The exposure is nice under what must have been challenging conditions. Very nice composition.

Excellent composition, awesome colours, amazing POV.TFS


The colors here are so beautiful Tim. I'm not sure the little half tree on the right side contributes much to the composition. I think it may make the image a little static...but that is is just my personal bias toward very simple compositions. See what you think in the workshop.
