TN friends, I've collected the photos with similar pose of dragonflies. I'm going to plan to post my collections sometimes. For the first, these dragonflies belong to the family "Libellulidae" and
they all are Canadian species.

Series I (Family: Libellulidae)
01: Libellula lydia (Common Whitetail),a male
02: Celithemis eponina (Halloween Pennant), an immature male
03: Erythemis simplicicollis (Eastern Pondhawk),a male
04: Pachydiplax longipennis (Blue Dasher),a male
05: Libellula luctuosa (Widow Skimmer),a male
06: Libellula quadrimaculata (Four-spotted Skimmer),a male
07: Libellula pulchella (Twelve-Spotted Skimmer),a male
08: Celithemis elisa (Calico Pennant),a male (not fully attained its mature coloring)
09: Libellula julia (Chalk-fronted Skimmer),a male

Thanks for looking and any words and comments, welcome.
I hope you all have nice holidays!! :-)

tres jolie composition pleine de belles couleurs, bon travail, bel assemblage

Wow, what a rich collection of the most interesting species of dragonflies from Canada, Kevin!
Each one of them is gem of a picture -- so distinct and so beautiful.
You must show them all separately, in my opinion.

Hello Kevin,
This is a very impressive presentation of beautiful dragonflies. Very interesting to see the different Libellulidae species gathered like this. All are excellent sharp images and I like the way they are all facing the same way. Please show us more! Really well done!
Many thanks, Ulla

Hi Kevin,
They all look like great images.
Though it is very well done, I prefer posts with one photo...anyway you can still do it.
But... very good work!

Wow, Kevin!
What a great collage of Libellulids. This is well arranged and every shot is sharp and of high quality.
The only species familiar to me is the Four-spotted, so it is nice to see all these new species at once.
Well done!
TFS, best wishes, Ivan

Hello Kevin,
this is a really beautiful and professional collection and a highly valuable contribution - something from which we can learn a lot. I hope that you will post some of these species also in higher magnification. I do not know how complete your collection is with respect to Canadian species - potentially, you should think about preparing a book on that topic.
Best wishes, Peter

bonjour kevin

Hi Kevin

What a fabulous collection of wonderful shots, how do you manage to get 9 shots of the same family and all in the same pose, it really is amazing and would take me about 50yrs if i was lucky, each shot has lovely sharp details and superb colours, well done for a very clever presentation.

Una excelente compilación Kevin con interesante presentación.
Me gusta el punto de vista muy similar en los nueve especies con apropiado foco, iluminación y definición en cada una de ellas.
Una buena idea, muy bien plasmada

Hi Kevin

This is truely splendid! Not only they are all very beautiful, but they are all from the same family and all different species! On top of that, you managed to take pictures of them all in more-or-less the same pose...Brilliant!
All these photos are superb - each of them - and together like this they make a magnificent post!
Thank you for sharing this with all us TN-ers!
BRAVO again!

Hey this isn't fair, too many species in one shot :) I'm jealous :)
Seriously though, I'd like to see 5,7 & 8 on thier own.
Great series, you've obviously spent quite a bit of time around the local wetlands.
They are all beautiful, and what an interesting theme.

Fantastic set of dragonflies. All the photos are perfect.
Best wishes

Cleverly crafted and presented, each shot superb in its detail, nice work.

Hello Kevin,
Magnificent collection. Very informative collage showing the dragonflies of libellulidae family. Each shot looks excellent in its own way with good sharpness, details, pOV,colours and lights. Thanks a lot for sharing this shot.

Hi Kevin,
This is amazing collage! I like a lot not only wonderful pictures of so many dragonflies not known for me, but also that... in all cases insects are "looking" in the some direction! ;>
Sharpness and colours are very nice, and note informative.
By the way, do you remember when I asked you about Cicindelidae pictures to the PES gallery? Please note that there are also 2 galleries of Odonata (as for now European species only). Maybe it would be a good idea to rebuild them and add aslo Nearctic species from Canada? I believe that N American "moderator" and specialist of Odonata pages in the PES gallery - please read: YOU, would be a good choice :) Please think about that idea. We have a lot of free space on our server, so maybe it would be a good occasion to prepare some bigger damselflies/dragonflies gallery?
Best greetings and of course Merry Christmas to you and your family my Friend!

Hello Kevin,

Happy new year!
