Wow, Radu. He looks shaken up. :) Indeed a funny follow up to the lovely previous one. Well worth posting.

Radu, It's a humorous follow-up with a great moment captured well! Did you add some blur PP? Just curious..Great post!

Nice capture radu , love the way you got the movement and the stillness combined. I have images of other birds shaking out their feathers and they all seem to keep their heads still like this.it must be a defence method, being able to keep watch while every thing else moves

I must try this at the office next time :) I like the fact that everything besides the head is blurred.
Thanks for posting and points tomorrow.

Hi Radu
I love herons - they are mean, vindictive and a lot of fun. I posted a series on TE on our Green Heron, not the same as yours. This is a nice, fun picture, I love fluffy birds, and this one is coming to the party with an excellent pose. Love the mean, beady eye he is laying on you here.
It would have bee nice if this was shot on portrait mode, so as to have the legs and feet in too.

Radu, a different shot. The guy above does look mad at something - or someone.
Colors are great, as well as composition.

Very interesting and unusual shot. I did not know that behaviour. Good color rendition of this particular bird; the movement is very well perceived even at 1/200 speed. He was shaking fast... Good job
