Yellow Love Birds
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|These Love Birds were featured in a a very dark interior exhibit with glass between the camera and the birds.|
In this case, I did not have my Manfrotto monopod and I had to dial up the ISO to 1250 to get enough exposure for a handheld shot. As a result the original image has a fair amount of noise and lacks the ideal DOF.
I processed the image originally in PS2 then revisited it in PS5, using Nik Dfine for noise reduction and Sharpener Pro.
Admittedly it is not a perfect image but the best under the given circumstances.

as you wrote « not a perfect image but

i never had DSLRs i can not say i know well
but i see here that your lense it is not IS,
if it was IS (image stabilizer) probably
it would be useful for this photo to get
sharper image and probably shoot with
a little bit faster shutter speed
i love the gracious pose of these birds
and there beautiful eye-contacts, i also
love the tight framing but i think i wouldn't
cut in the tails, the light it is beautiful, TFS
Excellent pose, timings, color in the image of
two beautiful Yellow Love Birds.
I could not resist to miss the depth of this image and hence i make little more sharpness to make feel of all natural feathers.
I hope you will appreciate my humble effort.
