[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken at the perching bird house at Brookfield zoo. You can get within a few feet of the birds there. There were two of these birds in the exhibit. Unfortunelty i've forgotten what it is.

Critiques [Translate]

There is just something not right about this photo. You shot at a very high ISO to begin with, but that no doubt was because of the light conditions. It looks either oversharpened, or pixelated in some way. Good composition, but it does not help this bird to look his best. I am no expert on birds, but it might be a Kestrel of some sort.

It looks like an immature male Polihierax semitorquatus (African Pygmy-Falcon).
