|This is a little Leafhopper, Coelidia olitoria, I think, that I photographed in my yard yesterday afternoon. There are roughly 2,500 species of Leafhoppers in North America, so ID'ing them to the species level can be virtually impossible for an amateur like me. :-)|
The camera was hand-held, using the pop-up flash which was diffused using a Puffer flash diffuser.

Excellent photo of this interesting and nicely marked insect. Perfectly focused with good detail in a nice setting. Interesting use of a light diffuser
Attractive specie.I like its appearance against the green BG.Details of Leafhopper is really beautiful with natural colour.I like its eye too.Well captured.

Another wonderful presentation from you. The natural colors really shows off this pretty little Leafhopper. I can't say I've seen this particular species before, as the ones around here are usually green or a light greenish blue color.
Again you captured exceptional detail and white balance looks great.
