[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Every day for the past two weeks we have had Canada Geese visiting the picked corn field behind the house.

The corn has been picked since last October, therefore not much if any is left on the cobs. This still doesn't detour them from searching through ever stalk they come in contact with.

Canada geese are extremely common in Ohio now-a-days. I remember as a boy getting excited just hearing them fly over as they traveled south every fall. Their numbers in the past twenty years have exploded to where they are often considered a nuisance. Their large droppings cover many parks, walking paths and sandy beaches of swimming areas.

Canada Goose is a fairly large bird,I guess, Ron. Never seen one with my own eyes.
This is a wonderful capture in the mellow light. From your perspective, the features of this bird are well captured.
The corn stumps in the field remind me of my native place where we too grow corn as a staple crop.

Hi Ron,

A proud Goose, I must admit. Its larger than any Goose that I have seen. A nice glow illuminating the breast plumes.
Thanks for sharing the lovely pic.

Warm Regards

Hi Ron,

The goose is well placed in the frame. The point of view is showing the details of the Canada Goose. The good luminosity is enhancing the colours. Have a nice day.

Well . . well . . well the bird that I have never seen alive but in photos or video, me wish much to get close to hence we have the large ponds that there migratory birds stay but access to the point is out of reach for a lay man like me, beautiful nice crisp catch.
