I used a 2X Extender on my Canon 70-200mm lens and shot this at 400mm. I was pretty pleased with the sharpness of the bird, shooting this hand helpd.

Hello Bob,
The male House Finch is one of my favorite birds to watch at our feeders during the cold winter months. Your choice of a 2X converter in conjunction with a 70-200MM lens resulted in this beautiful image.
The one negative I see is a slightly noisy BG which can easily be removed in Neat Image. Hope you don't mind, but I wanted to try a WS.

Hi Bob,the pic is a bit noised and the sharpness isn't the best, but the moment, the distance and the light were very bad,tou caught this lovely bird in the best way as possible in a situation like that. Have a nice week and thanks,Luciano
