[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today I photographed this cute little nuthatch while up at Sand Run Metro Park in Akron. The temperature was a bit cool with a slight breeze blowing, but it felt good just to be outdoors in the sunshine.

Common in leafy forest these energetic birds can also be found in suburbs and parks with big trees. Nuthatches love sunflower seeds and will readily visit back yard bird feeders.

During the winter months you can find these birds traveling in flocks with chickadees and other small birds.

Hello Ron

Excellent shot of this nuthatch with fine POV obtaining
its eye-contact, great focus, sharpness, and details, TFS

Adorable cute little Nuthatch captured in the most authentic looking ambience, Ron. I can detect the onset of spring in the fresh leaf buds in the blurred BG. I can't say why but at this time of the year when indications of reappearance of life become visible, I also feel rejuvenated somewhere inside me.
The bird is in perfect focus and looks beautiful in its up-side-down position on the bark of a tree.
Thanks and regards.

Hi Ron,
A marvellous capture from close range. Excellent detail and focus.
Amazing colors and nice composition.
Regards Jiri.

Hello Ron,
This little bird is a bit different from the Nuthatch I found in Europe. The breast is more grey at the European species. This one you post here is moving upside down like the European one.....
Thanks for sharing this nice bird.

Hi Ron,
a nuthatch looking at me....! Very nice. Thanks

Hello Ron,
Perfect cropping! Nice pose and excellent POV of this Nuthatch. Exposure is correct and I like the timing, at least branches didn't cross just behind its head, otherwise it would lost its aesthetic values.
Thanks for sharing,
