|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|Exactly one month ago today I posted a male Goldfinch in order to show how it was starting to change from it's winter plumage to it's summer. Today I photographed this male and can definitely see a big difference in this continuing transformation.|
The males still have a ways to go as the head cap will eventually be coal black and there will be almost no white visible on it's breast and sides.

Hi Ron,a beautiful face to face with this amazing goldfinch, useful post to compare with your post showed a mounth ago.The difference is big,and the quality of pic is another time very excellent,i like it! Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano
A wonderful portrait of this colorful bird Ron.
It is really amazing how certain male birds pass through the cycle of transformation during mating season, Ron. You have captured the Finch in such a state very effectively in this picture. The tufts of white on the breast and the dabs of white on the head are very well captured.
The plain green BG goes extremely well with the subject.
Excellent work! Perfect BG and nice POV. Beautiful photograph of this Goldfinch. Here I appriciate the way you have managed to obtain such stunning BG; no disturbance! Very few can achieved this if you go through TN pages (smile); so jeolous and so you didn't get much comment here. Anyway, this is TN. Great work!
Thanks and have a pleasant WE,
