AS WE MARCH ON SNOW
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|Nothing much to say :)|
It was cold, and a sunny day. Me and my friend, Sudipta.. were returning from a walk (in Ghiloni Park). On the other side of the road, found these Canada Geese marching on snow! That's the Golf Course of Marlborough.. which is adjacent to Ghiloni Park. These four birds were heading towards a big group of their friends, at far.
I wish i had time, to wait and click with more passion. But my friend was in hurry. Also, she was new to the place. She insisted, but couldn't just tell her return alone.
Okay. Never mind. Some other day :D
For the time being, hope you enjoy this dramatic moment :p :)
Thanks for viewing. Happy outing.
PS: the tree here, i think (from the memories of Fall), is a maple tree.

Ruby, you have returned here after a long time. Welcome back!
Your picture taken in hurry is a beautiful composition in natural black and white. The placement of barren tree off centre and the flock of Geese mid centre is the result of artistic thinking. Well done!
I like the way the Geese are heading towards their destination resolutely.
Thanks and stay on!

A fine little shot. Just some geese on the snow, a very poetical picture. Very nice to have included the tree and the little stonewall.
Agréable publication bucolique valorisant relativement bien les sujets dans leur environnement.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.

A nice shot of this small group of Canada Geese who are about to join their friends. You managed the exposure very well, even with all the snow as a BG.
The DOF is great as the focus is sharp throughout the entire frame. Colors are true and natural and composition is very eye pleasing.
We have a lot of these beautiful birds here in our area. They fly low over the house every morning and evening in large flocks. I still love to hear them calling while inflight. This always brings back fond memories from my childhood days, when they would fly over during the night while heading south. You rarely got to see them because of the darkness, unless they passed in front of the moon.
