Here is a Tree Swallow couple (Tachycineta bicolor) whom i met at the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary, on last weekend. The male bird here, is the same male bird as in my previous post . The female one, am not sure if the same as in my older post .

"Tree Swallows breed in fields, marshes, shorelines, wooded swamps, and beaver ponds throughout northern North America, preferring to live near bodies of water that produce multitudes of flying insects for food. For nesting they need old trees with existing cavities (typically made by a woodpecker), or human-made nest boxes. Migrating and wintering birds use habitats similar to their breeding habitat, except they may have no need for cavities and are free to live in open areas."

Here, this couple was busy in protecting their particular bird house. It's really so sweet to see hundreds of them together, busy in their respective household activities! Green meadows, so many bird houses, blue sky and the beautiful, active, curious birds.. :)

Hello Ruby

And now it is the couple of the Tree Swallows,
comparing the photo with your previous one
we see that it is the female that came and
join the male, the male it does not move with
almost the same pose of the previous photo,
photo shot with fine POV and appropriate
vertical framing, the catch-light on both birds eyes
it improve the photo by rendering it more beautiful, TFS

Hello Ruby,
What a cute couple you have posted today. I can see them now as they flit about overhead and make their unique little calls to each other as well as any intruder into their territory.
I just love the way their iridescent blue feathers seem to glow in the sunlight.
Ron
