[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Virginia Ctenucha is considered a wasp mimic. This unique looking moth is active during the day, but will also come to lights after dark.

I found this little specimen visiting some white clover blossoms while up at Chautauqua Lake in Jamestown New York. The white and yellow larva are densely tufted and feed on grasses and low growing plants.

Ciao Ron, great macro of fantastic wasp, splendid sharpness, fine details and wonderful colors, very well done, my friend, Merry Christmas and Happy new Year, ciao Silvio

Hi Ron,
Beautiful color palette and nice composition. However, the moth is a little oversharpened (seems the focus was rather on the flower) and the background is a bit noisy.
I wish you & your loved ones a very happy festive season, kind regards, László
