Flamenco Beach Ranked # 2 in the world
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This is sunrise at Flamenco Beach in the little Island of Culebra. This beach is ranked #2 in the world, I have never seem a more beautiful beach, white sands, clear crystal blue waters.. it is breathtaking!|
The area west of Flamenco Beach and the adjacent Flamenco Point were used for joint-United States Navy/Marine Corps military exercises until 1975. Many military relics, including tanks, remain in the area. Culebra and Vieques offered the U.S. military an experience of great value to the battles in the Pacific as a feasible training area for the Fleet Marine Force in amphibious exercises for beach landings and naval gunfire support testing. Culebra and Vieques were the two components of the Atlantic Weapons’ Range Inner Range. In recent years, the term “Inner Range” was applied only.

Outstanding shot of this serene Flamenco Beach with such fantastic sunrise colours in the sky. You really have captured the mood and atmosphere so beautifully here. I would love to take a stroll down there. Superb composition.
The colours of this scene are amazing, and your timing in capturing this was just spot on. The combination of mauve, yellow, orange and pink is a perfect match and is displayed well in the sky. A simple composition, yet pleasant An image that is working very well, reflecting the change over from night to day time, and creates a very relax atmosphere. Thanks for sharing.
