[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I've not yet found a name for this common spider. This one was shot in Florida on the new growth of a Ficus hedge. The sunlight was passing through the leaf so there is a color shift. For scale look at the water drop at it's left rear foot. I'd estimate it's 4 to 6mm in length, moves very fast and web is usually less than 3 inches across.
This is one of those images that you would love to be seen as a tiff as the detail, from the translucent legs to the hairs is amazing.
I used a Raynox DCR-250 as an add-on lens to my point and shoot.
