You show this colorful Ibis in it's natural habitat and have obtained exceptional detail and excellent exposure in doing so. Your WS images are educational and your notes very informative.

He does light well when the sun hits him. Good capture of detail from a good POV with good eye contact. Good composition and DOV. Don't get a boot full, looks very mucky.

Hope you are enjoying 2013. I apologize for staying away from your pages for so long though do have a cursory glance at all the photos. It is time which hinders, puts so many limitations in the way, hope I am forgiven.

This truly a perfect shot of the Glossy Ibis showing the normally dull body plumage in it's magnificent brilliance in the sun at the right angle. What impresses me more is that your focus point was spot-on on the (head area) eye! The DOF and low POV makes this a perfect compo. Well done my friend.
