[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Anhinga BURST out of the water and by golly caught him! It was high noon and harsh light, still needed to share this with you. Great moments in the wetlands today, it warmed up in Florida and the Marsh birds were certainly fishing up a storm! Photographers were out in full force too!

The Anhinga is known as the Water-Turkey for its swimming habits and broad tail, and also as the Snake-Bird for its habit of swimming with just its long head and neck sticking out of the water.

Hello Brenda, Great capture!!!
I would be thrilled to get a neat shot like this, as both bird and prey are in fine focus. I have never seen an Anhinga in the wild, but they sure have some strange features. Their long necks and sleek heads really do resemble that of a snake. Very interesting and educational image!!

Hi Brenda,
what an interesting lunch this is. Perfect portrait. Excellent composition. Very good use of light.
Have a nice week,

Hi Brenda

You have too many good things going for this remarkable action shot. The sleek curved neck of the darter with its red eye emerging from the algae covered water, quite a large fish speared by its beak, with water drops drooling down and not to forget the little weed in front keeping good company. So a little harsh light hardly matters. Fantastic capture.

Impressive scene Βrenda! Impressive photo too! Perfect timing, interesting composition and good sharpness.

Hello Brenda
indeed such an exciting action shot. The sharpness is splendid so much that the water droplets are seen on the fish body.Excellent capture.

Hello Brenda,
Excellent photograph of the Snake-bird with lunch, excellent sharpness, excellent composition, good lighting, outstanding background.

照的很清晰 這個姿勢真的很難抓取到
卻被你抓到時間點 真是不容易
鳥很可愛 還有的姿勢逗趣
構圖也美麗 謝謝分享

Hi Brenda, great timing to take this rare and unusual scene! You manage very well the terrible backlight in a correct exposure to not lost the details,it's nice to see something to different on TN! Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

Nice one dear Brenda .... WOW ... I am absolutely stunned. Will she ate it with the green salad ?

Hello Brenda,
Fantastic shot! Likely one of the best action scene I've seen.
Technically, not really perfect, but nobody cares. The timing is perfect and the picture brings a great emotion.
Wonderful, tfs.

Ciao Breenda, great portrait of lovely bird in great action, excellent details and splendid sharpness, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Hi Brenda. I love how you've stopped the action here. It shows the bird has a lot of control. The fish almost has a look of failure. LOL I like your DOF here. It makes everything pop well. The focus is good and it's framed well. I love the red eye attained by the high sun. A great shot Brenda. Glad you were there. TFS Trevor

Hello Brenda.
