|I re-discovered the J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island, Florida early this year. It is located only about 20 miles from where I live and I had somewhat forgotten what a great place Ding Darling is. I have already been out there a half dozen times this year after a multi-year hiatus.|
The birds were not very plentiful yesterday morning but I think I got a few pretty good photos anyway, just not very many birds. The little guy in this photo was only about 10 feet or so from me as I had a 2x converter on my 400mm f2.8 Canon lens so what you see here is pretty much full frame.
I've been active on TrekEarth for almost 3 years and have enjoyed the experience. Guess it's time to expand my horizons.
