|Great Egret (Ardea alba). Image captured near the fishing pier of Periwinkle Drive, Sanibel Island, Florida. This egret was quite tame as it was waiting for some fishermen to land their catch, which it then would try and steal from the line. I noticed this was quite a common event and one egret had to be caught as it had become entagled in a fishing line after stealing a fish.|
The picture is a bit grainy as I have zoomed and cropped using Photoshop CS. The picture was taken in auto mode which delivered a shutter speed of 1/1250 sec at f/5.0. The ISO speed rating was 50. Not a typically structured image more a snapshot, but I liked the bird's pose!

Give us some details on how you got the shot and what equipment you used. Focus is good, but the pic looks a little grainy and I'm not sure why ...
