I was fortunate to have a family of 9 Burrowing Owls living in an artificial burrow on my front lawn in Cape Coral, Florida, USA. My husband was working on our lawn sprinkler system and one of the owls decided to take a shower in the sprinkler water. Cape Coral has the largest population of the Florida species of the Burrowing Owl in the United States.

Hi Beverly,

Welcome to TN and this looks like an interesting shot with good action and detail. It would have be been good to see the image a little larger and to have a little information on the owl or on why and how you took the picture.

Looking forward to seeing more of your pictures,
