[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a water bug called a Backswimmer. It is a true bug that propells itself across the water on its back using their hind legs as oars. They can also fly. They can bite and hunt other bugs that get caught in the water as well as tadpoles.

This guy was skimmed from the pool before a cold dip.

PP is a crop and resize, can't remember if i sharpened it, but I used the macro setting on my camera.
