[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Good Morning TNers...

This is my second in the series of 4 of Brown Pelican photos. The object of their attention is scraps of fish left over from processing. These birds will go off and hunt on their own, but are more than glad to follow a fishing boat in for handouts.

Note of interest: Do not pet a pelican. Your hand looks like a fish! 8-{

Hi Kathy,
What a fight! It's actually quite hard to work out which body parts are attached to make whole birds :-) Good detail and the tight crop emphasises the action. I think it's a little contrasty but a minor nit, it;s a good shot.
Regards,
Adrian

What a lot of action you have caught, Kathy. : )
I love pelicans, and see brown and white ones over here.
I went looking for pelicans to shoot all weekend, but they were always too far. So I am thrilled to see your picture this morning.
Great POV and sharp details. A fun post to look at.
TFS. : )

Hi Kathy.
Your shot is very original and entertaining. Great scene was captured. All parameters of the shooting are excellent: exposure (shutter speed and aperture), contrast and colours, DOF and POV. Composition and framing are perfect too. Well done and TFS,
Alexei.

Hi Kathy

Great action shot, the detail is excellent, if I had taken this shot it would be one big blur. Nice colours and frame too.

Regrads Hilary :)

Bonjour Kathy
Superbe cette photo de ces jolis Pélicands qui semblent avoir trouvés leurs endroit de nourriture.. Les couleurs contrastes très bien .

Merci et au revoir.....JP

Hi kathy,
There is a lot going on in this photo. Looks like this one little fish is all they got that day. The tight crop brings out the action perfectly. Maybe a tad to much contrast, but the details are perfect.
TFS,
Niek
