|This lake has no name. |
Amongst almost 20 big lakes in Shelby Farms Park, this is just another one: a lovely, calm and apparently small lake.. situated just in front of that famous and huge Patriot Lake.
But i had a name for it: 'Sunshine Lake' :)
No other name could be more suitable.. at least, i don't find. Every time, whether it be a sunny or cloudy day, i found this lake being kissed by the sun-rays! Somehow!! Its slopes, the trees at the boundary and the calm water.. all as if are always stretching their arms to worship the Sun.. to hold the sunlight.
On the other side of this lake, there is a small wooden bridge.. and a thicket, full of birds :)

It's great seeing another post from you. Sunshine Lake...I like it!! Maybe you should suggest it to the caretakers of Shelby Farms Park and they will take you up on it.
This particular area appears very beautiful with is colorful trees and peaceful looking lake. I'm sure when the weather gets nicer you will be in the thicket with camera in hand, just waiting for a shot of some birds.
I checked out Shelby Farms Park on the web and it has over 4,500 acres of beautiful landscapes and walking trails. I'm betting it is a great place for birding when the spring migration is in full swing.
Wonderful composition but I find the image a bit too warm .Have done a WS on this hope you like it.
