Hello Ray,
Your Canon 60D did a good job of photographing this pretty little Monarch Butterfly. I really enjoy watching these beautiful butterflies this time of the year as they begin their long migrating journey down to Mexico.
I'm a little puzzled as to why you used such a high ISO of 5000, as this caused a tad bit of noise in the BG.

Hello Ray,
Most probably first time I am commenting on your picture after I joined here in TN.Quite well captured this beautiful butterfly. Colour looks natural and splendid.
Thanks for sharing your work with us,
Regards,
Srikumar

Ray, I go with Ron in his observation about very high ISO rating.
Well, the picture is not really bad but it could be better. Keep shooting and experimenting.
Belated welcome to TN!
