I was exploring an area where the city dumped huge boulders left over from a levy project years ago when I noticed an area of white brighter than the rock. It was this skull of what I believe is a fox. The Sun had bleached it just as you see it here. There were signs all over the place that foxes inhabit the rocky area as there are many places to hide and build dens.

Hi Billy,
Nice clear and crisp image of this bleached skull. I went on www.skullsunlimited.com and I'm not sure that this is a canine skull have a look and see what you think.

Hi Billy,
I must of missed this one, love the composition looks very stark and hard with the bleached white of the skull up against the rocks, but I guess that's what nature can be sometimes, nice detail and the exposure is perfect, Cheers Rick

Very interesting shot. I have a shot of a snake skeleton...wasn't a great shot though but these are fascinating subjects, aren't they?
Good to see you back! ;)
