Remember how completely obsessed I became with my hummingbirds. Well this cardinal is doing the same thing to me...he's mesmerizing me. ha ha He's a crazy little guy that taunts my cat and dirties my car, but I'm in love.

I've been wanting to make some dedications but I don't even know where to start. So many of you have been an important part of my Treknature experience.
Bob Shannon and Doug Brown have become real friends via email. Doug actually mailed me software to help me in this endeavor. Bob encouraged me when I felt like giving up.
Then there's that crazy lady, Kathy Meader, whose adventures never cease to amaze me. I say a prayer for her on many evenings - just keep her safe. :)

Wow, there are so many and so much I could say...I'm afraid to leave anybody out. Mana inspires me with color, Joey amazes me with macros.
Pablo can turn something ordinary into something extraordinary.
Aires Mario da Cruz and his wife have become real friends.
Thank you Haraprasan Nayak,Kathleen and Jaycee for your kind comments.
Klaus gives great advice and tips! :)
The butterflies of Pankaj Bajpai and Peter Stoekl are definitely inspiring!
Silke, Ebirdy, and Uleko - your gentle natures are reflected in your photos - there is more than just skill there, I see love.
Tom Peak, your work has evolved so much...it's amazing. As has Jmirah and Billy Banks - same thing goes for you guys.
I know I missed people..I keep thinking of more and more...I could write on and on.
But know that each one of you have touched my life.
Thank you!!!

Ah, in love again, eh? There's nothing wrong with having a male on the side in this case. Lovely pose. He reminds me of an airplane about to take off. I love the crispness of his pose, the soft background that brings the subject to attention, and overall, the composition is terrific. Wonderful job. Birds and butterflies become you. :)

Hi Angelina,
You had a strong reason to be in love!
This birds looks so great in pictures, that is a pleasure always to look at them, both male and female.
I still don't have one on my gallery, but hope some day to have it.
This picture is so well executed technically and on the artistic side, and the composition made with the profile pose is really great.
My compliments and thanks for share it.
Best regards,
JM

Hi Angelina,
it is fine with me if you get a little obsessed taking photos of this beautiful creature as you have caught him well.Great colour, details and focus bring him to life.I miss these birds as here where I live they are very rare and so far there is only one ever reported.Very nice note you have included as well. Thanks for sharing this fine red fellow. Bob

Hi Angelina

Love this shot. Perfect details, well composed against a perfect OOF BG. Well saturated colours. Nice work. :-)

Hello Angelina,

What a lovely words to some members from TN. Also this is a part of TrekNature, people appreciate and gives sometimes a compliment. This makes the world again a little bit better. Back to you cardinal. It is unbelievable that a bird (not a tropical one)can have such colours. Amazing. Your composition is good. POV, BG and DOF are oké. Fine details. Have a nice weekend. Regards and TFS BOB

Wow...them thar' sound like honest words in sincerity from a Texas Longhorn with a big heart and a good eye.

A lovely cardinal shot...sometimes we do get caught up in a particular insect of general family and it only takes a moment or a glance to change our direction.

I do so love the cardinals..not St Louis but the Ohio State bird...a wonderful capture and his colors are perfecto!

We're all allowed our obsessions!
Remember when I was obsessed with dragonfly photos!
This is a lovely capture of this vividly coloured bird.
Cardinals are probably one of my favourites!
+++ Great sharpness and superb details in the wings especially.
Like I said, the colours are very vibrent and stand out superbly against the BG.
Great DOF aswell.
Well composed, a good POV and a good pose.
A touching note... thanks for my mention :)
--- Absolutely nothing :)
Some fine work Angy.
Well done and I hope you enjoy your weekend!

Joe

Hi Angy,

What a lovely note! One of the many wonders of TN is how we can make friends from all over the world. At the beginning everyone is a stranger but very quickly what was once just a name becomes a real human being who means so much to us. And now I have your hummingbirds but have lost my cardinals. I guess the score is even. This love of yours is a beauty. Excellent shot with wonderful colors and details. I love the crop.
