today i did an in-flight photo of one of Senor Rojo's
Canadian cousins but fow now i decide to not post it that photo,
excellent close-up photography of Senor Rojo shot with fine POV,
i would love to see more space where he is looking but i understand
that there is the bird feeder and it would'nt bee beautiul on the photo,
the luminosity is beautiul, sharpness and details excellent, TFS

Senor Rojas is as beautiful as ever but he looks cold! He must really like you to allow you to come so close. You are so lucky to have him there - the Cardinals here are the most elusive of all the birds. Wonderful shot with beautiful colors and details. Love the eye and the seeds on the beak.

Welcome Home as the Rainbow Family sometimes say. Always glad to see you Angel...and with a fine image of course...you are a drop dead photographer...not sure what that means but I said it...

Hi, dear Angelina.
Thank you for visit and nice comments when I was so busy.
You have shared a very nice shot of a beautiful bird. Its pose, head turn and eye-contact are so attractive also as well as great details and sharpness of all bird features. I like selected DOF and combination of sharpness of the main subject and blurriness of the BG. A bit back sunlight creates a nice effect too. My compliments and all the best.

A fine, partly lateral capture of a beautiful Cardinal specimen Angelina, the overall colour scheme towards the warmer part of the spectrum makes this a pleasure-to-watch composition. TFS indeed my friend!

Hello Angelina, Too beautiful but I think still there is a room for improvement of contrast and brightness. The frame to my opinion is too tight. Ganesh

I missed some of your postings and thought I'll come back to leave a comment. This is a real close-up with great features captured, especially in the facial area. This bird almost looks guilty as if he was caught redhanded while eating. Just love that black patch of feathers around the beak, which is shown so well in this photograph. I also like the sunglight caught in the face. It gives more sparkle to the light already caught in the eye. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful color and detail...A really nice portrait...TFS
A colourful fellow and a lovely pose!
Effective DoF and wonderful details in the plumage, the red bird stands out well on the blurry back...
He looks a bit irritated or am I wrong hehehe..!
