Hi Harry,
Beautiful image. Good content.
Concerning the composition I do like more your previous posts; the cropping is a bit tight. A matter of opinion though.
I see you scanned your negative. Not often done here, I think.
I have an epson perfection 4990photo. Hardly use it due to time issues; do you think this i a good scan for 135mm and 120 film?

Like this Harry...specially like the colour depth brought out with film. I've just got the coolscan v ed and am returning to film as I miss the certain quality and vitality that the emulsion renders...just need to source an e6 kit as no one local sells them now.
The ripped fish tells the story and the talon puncturing the flesh is rendered well. Best, Brat.

lovely shot .. wish you had the entire eagle in the frame .. but what is in the frame is excellent, perfect details, no OE of white feathers. Well done!!

je veux dire pour voir aussi sa queue au complet

Hi Harry
Obviously there is a very unusual problem here: being too close to an Eagle. This is a pretty unknown problem in Europe.
My biggest concern is the tight upper cropping, the tail being anyway out of focus, it does not really matter.
But all these are minor problems, the big point being the perfect sharpness of the head and the great action, combined with a beautifull blue sky!

Hello harry, what a shot, the only missing part being the tail.But that's a minor issue, for what you have cpatured is a scene with great clarity and life.Good details of the wings too.

Great vivid colours and sharpness. After scanning I think you have managed the photo. Otherwise it's a super scanner. I use a Minolta but after scanning I need an other program as PS to make the photo acceptable.
The sky is so deep blue. Brilliant photo.

Personally I don't mind about tight crops in wildlife photography. As this is a scanned slide, I don't think that crop was the issue here either, it must be the full frame version.

You managed to capture this beautiful eagle in a very good light with lots of details, and your timing was very good to catch him eating his prey. Well done and TFS

I just discovered your allery, which is truly amazing ! Each and every picture is splendid ! I like this one because you managed to capture a very interesting moment, while the eagle is eating. Nice sharp details, beautidul composition, vivid colors, and the blue sky makes a wonderful BG. Must be great to watch these impressive birds in the wild, here in Europe we can only see them in zoos. Very well done !
