Canyon de Chelly National Monument is located in northeastern Arizona, within the boundaries of the Navajo Nation. The monument covers 131 square miles and encompasses the floors and rims of the three major canyons: de Chelly, del Muerto, and Monument. These canyons were cut by streams with headwaters in the Chuska mountains just to the east of the monument.
It consists entirely of Navajo Tribal Trust Land that remains home to the canyon community.
A spectacular geologic feature is Spider Rock, a sandstone spire that rises 800 feet from the canyon floor at the junction of Canyon de Chelly and Monument Canyon. Spider Rock can be seen from South Rim Drive. It has served as the scene of a number of television commercials.

Hello Franco,
Never saw such a landscape before...
For some reason it does make me think about tasteful chocolate pudding...
Wonderful nature structures...

Hi Franco!

You have captured wonderful and amazing structures and patterns, very well underlined by the composition and the point of view you have chosen. I like the duality of the green and red hillocks. The colors and the lighting are also superb!

Well seen, well done!

Kind regards

Markus

Hello Franco,

Very nice landscape! Colours and sharpness are great.
Cheers,

This is a nice sharp image Franco. I'm curious as to where you were when you shot it... a canyon rim , the air????
The color looks very true to me.

Ciao Franco,

mi piacciono moltissimo tutti i fenomeno rocciosi presenti nell'ovest degli USA. Ottimo il punto di vista buoni i dettagli.

Complimenti!

Gio
