[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Technically this would be my 400th and something... But as some of you remember I cleaned out my "closet" and started all over again... So today we are here, the big 200th and to comemorate this mark I give you the Cape Thick-Knee (Burhinus capensis).

The Spotted Thick-knee, Burhinus capensis, also known as the Spotted Dikkop or Cape Thick-knee, is a stone-curlew in the family Burhinidae.

Hi Everton. Congrats again on the second 200 pictures.
This is a unusual looking bird from the legs down. I have never seen a bird sit on its knees like that. You have taken this with good detail and natural colours. You show the markings well. TFS.

Hi Everton,

I remember when you started over so Congratulations on reaching 200 (maybe for the second time). I have never seen a bird in a position like this - must be a first on TN. A nice shot of this bird with the heavy eyelids, interesting two-colored beak, and nice face and plummage. Colors and details are wonderful and the setting is perfect. Here's to the next 200.

Ciao Everton,
congratulazioni per la 200th (or 400th) su TN; bellissima composizione con una strana ed inusuale postura di questo uccello catturato con ottima definizione dei dettagli del piumaggio mimetico, molto belli i colori.
