Correction in bird identification. This is a SAND HILL Crane, not a WHOOPING crane... sorry about the error and thanks to Jeroen Gerdes (the Netherlands)for drawing this to my attention (see previous Sand Hill crane images)! 8-) This species is not endangered, nor even threatened.

The bands were removed from both legs (justs above the knees) with PS.

Hello Michael.
Nice capture of this beautiful bird in the endangered list. Perfect details and tone in your shot. Nicely done PS without leaving the traces of the bands.
Thanks and have a nice day.

thanks for showing this beautiful bird species threatened. It is necessary to hatch as many eggs of this species to preserve this gentle bird in this planet. tfs.

Bonjour Michaël,
Agréable valorisation du sujet sous un bon angle de prise de vue.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.

hmmm this looks to be the sandhill crane,, a lot less endangered species wintering in 1000s in bosque del apache. the whooping crane is white!
