[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken from our wilderness campsite on Monitor Pass on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California. It is a place we have gone to for over 30 years. John Muir once said that "Going to the Sierra is like going home." I know it is true for me.

Bela composição.
O contrate esta bom; a composição é bastante "natural"...

Bom trabalho

Beautifully done! You have captured the light of twilight without losing any important details. Bravo!

I really like this shot, Evelynn. I like that there is something to look at in the foreground, midground, and background. Each layer shows something different and interesting to look at, rendered in sharp details. The colors are very rich. Something in this capture gives the sense of intimacy, and yet distance. Interesting effect. TFS. : )

Great framing and wonderful composition. I like it. TFS

Wonderful image, I love the interesting vegetation in the foreground, it adds a lot of interest to the photo. Great moon as a bonus too!

Hi Evelynn
Very good capture of this sierra landscape. The fill-in flash really lit the foreground well to show all the nice detail of the vegetation. The POV is well enhanced by the foreground bridging the gap to the mountain range in the background and rising up to the moonlit sky.
Lovely composition, good exposure, nice colours, and well done on the DOF.
Great work and TFS.

Gorgeous colors...it reminds me of a Stephen Lyman Painting. Your very talented. I love all your photos. Thanks for sharing, Janice

Hello Evelynn,
Beautiful landscape from the Sierra. I like the illumination in the foreground and the balanced composition. Well done.

Hi Evelynn, Beautiful shot and a magic light. Is it taken early in the morning, or...?
Tfs Hans
