I would love this in my gallery, this boy has had a few arguements over the girls by the scares on his neck. Your capture is great to say the least, great camera work. I believe I have heard they are amazingly quick for thier size.

I just love the light on the glistening bodies of the elephant seals. What time of the day were these pictures taken? Were the seals all wet? My pictures did not come out anything like that.
That IS a wonderful expression that you have captured. I like the pose and the wet sand in the BG.

A great capture of this big one,a nice low POV,the exposure is well handled,if the guys are have a territorial fight it is better to keep some distance and I tink you will bother,but here indeed he is quite relaxed,tfs

I am so jealous that you can see these. The tones of sand and water go so well in this shot.The focus could not be better in my opinion.The one eye open is such a gallant effort on his part. Oh Bother....Perfect!

What an expressive face! He really is bored of everything and just wants to jay back and enjoy the warm rays of the sun :))
A splendid shot! The fronatal and low-angled POV here is exceptional and really catches all that "emotion" very well.
The exposure here is also very well managed and gave you a very nie contrast on the elephant-seal's body and face.
The crispy-clear details and the charming and well saturated colors complete this lovely composition.

Hi Evelynn,
Look at the half-open eye, perfectly captured. I think you've choosen a good moment. It reflects perfectly the seal in his natural environment. The background is also good, reflecting in the seal's fur. Good work again.

What a funny expression you captured here. The title goes perfectly with it. The quality of this photo is excellent, with great details and perfect lighting. Great work on the DOF and on your low POV. The wet sand in the back makes for an interesting reflection. I am seeing something in the reflection, just on the left of the seal, but can't figure out what it is.

Wonderful shot and quite apt as I went past Ashdown Forest today (the place on which 100 Acre Wood, where Pooh lived, is based). He looks like pooh bear after too much honey.

Wonderful light, great expression and pin sharp. Lovely shot
