Elephant Seals
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
We took this on the return trip up the California Coast. On the trip down the coast we stopped at this same location and did not see any baby elephant seals, but just 1 week later there were many black baby seals laying all over the same beach. This shot shows the whole "family", dad, mom, and baby.
**I revised it as suggested and cloned out the 2nd female but left the mom & baby (little black lump near the nose of the tan mom). I also brightened it up a bit and cropped it. Does it look better?*** |

Yes, this image seems complete and you are a quick study.
Very well done and thanks for posting.
I actually like the original version better, although this does show the "Big Guy" to better advantage. Nice job of cloning too! You're getting better all the time, but then you already knew that didn't you??
Hi julie, it seeems to be open season on your seals, I liked your original with its good view of their enviroment inclueded, but it did allow you to miss them as your eye went into the distance.with that in mind I to have done a WS, hope you can see why I thought to it that way.
