Pike's Peak is one of Colorado's 54 "Fourteeners" at around 14,110 feet above sea level. My dad drove up to the summit a little under 30 years ago when he was stationed here in the army. Many things have changed between that summiting and the one that he and I did together. Some more of the highway leading to the summit has been paved and a visitor center has been added along with several observation platforms. He talked about how they do a car race to the summit every year. He asked if I wanted to drift after I had yelled at him for even going two miles over the speed limit. It was quite a trip and a beautiful view. |

Hi Ashley!
Beautiful shot of Pike's Peak! That race is world famous indeed and you really should try out some drifting if you have the opportunity ;) TFS
Best regards,
Andor
