[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this image yesterday from Cascade Locks below the museum on the walkway beside the canal adjacent to the Columbia River. The mountains are the Oregon Cascades, the one closer to us has one of the hardest trails that climbs steeply to an overlook of the Bridge of the Gods, and then further to the hanging gardens of wildflowers. There is an old Native American Pow Wow site where they met and gave thanks to the Spirits for the life that they were allowed to live. and for the animal spirits that they culled to survive the cole illahee that the Columbia River Gorge is well known for.
