|The Chinook Native American word for Spirit is Tahmahnawis.... So this actually is Spirit Falls......If one were to say Hyas Tahmahnawis, it would define as The High Spirit......This was taken a few years back along the Eagle Creek Trail in the Columbia River Gorge. Eagle Creek Trail is the most utilized trails in the Gorge as it offers the photographer and visitor alike 6 seperate waterfalls along the first 5 miles of the trail. There is the Metlako, Punchbowl, Loowit, Tahmahnawis, Tunnel Falls, and Eagle Creek. The wildflowers along the trail are ablaze throughout April or May through Mid August depending on the elevation and shade available. One of the many wonderful trails in the western portion of the Columbia River Gorge.|

very good shot.
Nice composition, beautiful colors and lightning.
Such a beautiful scenery with pleasant elements of nature. The white of the water is really beautiful and actually look unreal. It is like looking at a picture. You have captured the spray mist of the water well and it displays well against the green moss. A lovely and most inviting image.
Thanks for sharing.

Un peu en retard pour commenter cette image. Cette cascade a vraiment quelque chose de magique et semble traverser un paysage très sauvage. Le blanc de l'eau me semble un peu surexposé, mais sans que cela gêne. Bon cadrage vertical.
Je te souhaite une journée ensoleillée
