[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have always liked the looks of the Steller's Jay, or Cyanocitta stelleri, but the bird can be a nuisance. Several years ago while sitting on a rock enjoying a sandwich and the view, one swooped in and with a well-timed move, manage to remove what was left of my meal and continue to a nearby tree to enjoy it. I guess that's what I get for eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in the open. 8v)

This particular bird was photographed near Elk Lake along Century Drive. The drive is west of Bend, Oregon, and is a scenic run through the foothills of the High Cascades.

Good capture of this hansome bird.
Perhaps a bit too centred and the bright object in the background is distracting.
Reasonable sharpness and good POV.
