Displaying Merganser

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
A male Mergus merganser, or Common Merganser, displays as a Graylag goose passes by. The merganser was part of a small group on a small pond frequented by water fowl. I noticed the birds on the pond a couple of days before. Prior to that sighting I hadn't seen them on the pond before. The pond is located in an industrial area of the town. |

Hi Lauren,
an interesting photo but a difficult one to review. So here goes. The action is good but the details of the birds are lacking and the focus is soft.I like it if there were a bit more detail and the group of birds were not so tight together(not that you can control it).I take it that the goose was what upset the merganser.Keep shooting away.
