[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A male Mergus merganser, or Common Merganser, displays as a Graylag goose passes by. The merganser was part of a small group on a small pond frequented by water fowl. I noticed the birds on the pond a couple of days before. Prior to that sighting I hadn't seen them on the pond before. The pond is located in an industrial area of the town.

Hi Lauren,
an interesting photo but a difficult one to review. So here goes. The action is good but the details of the birds are lacking and the focus is soft.I like it if there were a bit more detail and the group of birds were not so tight together(not that you can control it).I take it that the goose was what upset the merganser.Keep shooting away. Bob
