|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|I generally do everything I can to capture birds (and everything else I shoot) in as much a natural environment as I can. Sometimes this means moving around, peeking through tree branches, shooting when I get the chance. Sometimes I end up with a good image, sometimes I end up with something like this. I do like this view of a male Dendroica petechia found in a blooming crab apple tree.|
Yellow Warblers are found in central Oregon during the spring and summer. However this is only the third one I have seen in more than 10 years of looking. The two other sightings were in Juniper trees away from towns in the high desert.

Very interesting DOF and a lovely subject, it's like a golden bird in an enchanted tree, from a fairytale :)
Great sharpness and colors, TFS.
