Bryce Canyon is at a high elevation, around 8,500 ft. It is really an escarpment. These sandstone formations are called hoodoos. This was taken near sunrise. |

Hi Karen,
nice photo of this canyon. Beautiful place. Amazing colours. Perfect composition!
Have a nice weekend,
Maciek
Hello Karen,
a nice picture from Bryce Canyon.
The colours are really nice and the picture is decent sharp with good exposure.
Maybe you should try to post next a some larger, this is a bit small,
you can post up to 800x800 px.
You did well with you small camera.
Regards
Gert

Ciao Karen, great POV on fantastic canyon, wonderful warm colors, excellent clarity and splendid light, very well done my friend, have a good week end, ciao Silvio
Hi Karen,
The sun being at low angles, the picture manages the light very well, providing yellow (3 shades) & white! Compo-wise I wish you zoomed out a little [guessing it was possible - from the exif], to accommodate a thin slice of sky. It relieves you from being boxed in into the frame.
Subhayan.
