It was raining through the night. The soil was saturated making the colors of the rocks even richer. Though I got mud sticking to the bottom of my shoes. It make walking difficult, and it was cold. If I had stay still long enough, I would either be frozen or the mud would dried up and I would be stuck in that place forever. It looks like a promise of a beautiful sunrise, but the sun just came up and went behind the thick cloud and it was all dark and gloomy. I was happy to get a few shots while a little bit of light peaks through the opening.

I was going to provide some information about Bryce Canyon, but most people already know it pretty well, and if you don't, just do a simple search and there will be more information then you will ever need.

Hello Way,
I remember this area well from a visit a few years back. This was probably our all time favorite canyon region while traveling throughout the western states. Your image shows off the unique features and gorgeous colors of Bryce Canyon in wonderful detail and clarity. Exposure is superb and composition very pleasing to view. Great work!!
Ron

Wow Way, an impressive landscape I must say. Crisp clear and with fine tone of the rocks. Happy that you kept a bit of a sky over the canyon. Presumably an HDR? Thanks for sharing,

Subhayan.

Hello, Way, An excellent image of one of my favorite parks,Bryce. Good color saturation. Excellent close up of The Sinking Ship. You have a very impressive gallery of photos. I can see that travel is one of your favorite hobbies for your gallery is a testament to thatLooking forward to seeing many more of your photos here on TN.

magnificent view true this almost square frame, Way! I have seen in the past some similar images of that majestic canyon but this one for me is truly special, with the subtle balance between the highlights and the shadows ...with the gorgeous white balance ...depth and clarity. The only thing which I feel that can be more carefully monitored is the sharpness issue. like in your previous post this one looks a bit over sharpened and as a result the detail looks way too exuberant. For such a small frame this is not particularly great....but hey ...Way, this is just a minor note...your image here is a masterpiece, in my opinion! Bravo!

Hi Way,
Great to see a photo from you again. Your style of landscape photography is one I like a lot. You seem to capture them with wonderful light and great thought on composition. here you created another one where you took the time to wait until the sun has set behind the hill. The leadin of the rocks allows the eyes to go on a journey with you. Great work on keeping the colors real and the details high.

Hallo Way
I wish we had landscapes like these around us, because I would have loved to see a view like this everyday. But luckily we have photographers like you that share the views and scenes they see with their eye and camera, just like this one you share here today. It is a fantastic scenery, which has feeling of calmness and serenity that surrounds is. I like the wide opened space and the beautiful colours on the horizon. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.
Anna
