[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a photo of Guun and Gotto Peak, taken on a early sunrise after new years eve, and was the start of a new day of a new year of 2008. Taken near my house, my camera had enough zoom to be able to pick this up, even though these mountains are 30 or so miles away. The sunrise was'nt quite this red, because I used a faster shutter speed, it turned out a little redder, but I must say it was still in person a very red sunrise. I used Picasa 2 to sharpen this photo a little, and for resizing. The sunrise was amazing, I saw the faint red as the sun started to lighten the sky, so I dash home for my camera, and run in and out of my house, and down the street to try and capture this one. Unfortunatly I do not own a tripod, and did not know about ISO back then, and was tired and out of breathe when I took this one, and it was freezing out. One might ask.... why not wait a moment to not be out of breathe.... I did, the sunrise was so fast, by the time I cought my breathe, the moment was over, and it turned back into a darker version of day. Sorry about the Sharpness being low, atleast its the idea that counts.

Hi Josh!

In spite of the fact that the subject of this picture is wonderful, I must tell you it lacks of quality, especially of sharpness. I have already noticed this with some of your former postings. I don't know if it is your camera or the postprocessing, but something is wrong. I hope you don't mind, but it's sad to see great landscapes and atmospheres disappear behind a cloack of unsharpness.

Hope you don't mind...

Kind regards

That is one stunning sunset!
What a fantastic atmosphere!
Superb composition.
Incredible colours.
Like Markus said this is very slightly un-sharp. Do you use the self-timer? This will make the photos much sharper.
As a whole though, this is excellent!
Well done Josh!
