Sunrise over Glacier Peak
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This is a wide screen photo to capture this one, because I like wide screen some times. I used a 1/2000 of a second exposure to capture this one because the sun was bright, and set the f/stop to 10. This photo was taken from my roof on a early sunrise on April 22, 2008. The sun was red, and it was a very beautiful sight. Glacier Peak which is on the left is a 10541 ft (3213 m) volcano which is inactive and on the right is Vesper Peak, which is 6200 feet. Its great to have the view I have from my home and I used lots of zoom of coarse. Enjoy :-)|

Nice soft glow to your shot Josh,
With your choice of shutter speed you've managed to keep the sun's rays from totally glaring out the image of the mountain. Wonderful effect!
You truly seen our Creator in all things...and you picture it as in Corinthians 13...through a glass dimly, depending on the version....and yet it exposes the etheral qualities of life and nature through the eyes of a mortal. Very well done. I can see why you are cyber friends with Joey! both very talented...
