This Beetle I found in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest on the way to Bird Creek Meadows on Mt. Adams, Washington. Bird Creek Meadows is the finest wildflower rock garden on Mt. Adams, and is also one of the starting points for climbing Mt. Adams, a one day climb with good weather, and rather easily summited.
In addition with my 90mm 2.5 Macro lens I used a 2X and 4X diopter filter to control the DoF. |
